They were excellent. Played a couple of songs I wasn't too keen on(Feel The Benefit and Rochdale To Ocho Rios) but can't complain about the gig. I saw them a few years ago at a venue with restricted viewing and hearing shocked and I thought they worked it better this time around, mainly because they did an acoustic warm up set of all Graham's hits from the 60's which he had written for The Hollies,The Yardbirds,Herman's Hermits etc so that the 10cc set wasn't interrupted

Sounds very much like when I saw them last year; I hadn't realised up to that point what a prolific songwriter Graham Gouldman was in the '60s, especially considering he must only have been in his late teens or early 20s at the time. As you say, splitting the acoustic set and the 10cc set worked well. Last year he did 'Bus Stop' which I'd known as a Hollies tune, and I saw the Hollies perform it when they were on tour earlier this year.

I must admit I rather do like 'From Rochdale to Ocho Rios' though! Bl**dy Tourists is probably my favourite 10cc album.

I saw 10cc at The Stables last year and really enjoyed it as well. Mind you, it's only really 2.5cc these days isn't it? grin

10cc were actually the first band that I really fell in love with when I was around 12/13.......until someone bought me "Second's Out" wink

Really? shocked

(there's that face again grin)

You actually prefer that album to the classic line-up albums? I liked "Deceptive Bends" quite a lot but "Bloody Tourists" is where I started to lose interest.

Maybe I should revisit it?

Sheet Music is one of my favourite albums of all time. Every song is a gem. Well worth another play or two, Helen wink

I agree,in part, as I started losing interest with "Deceptive Bends", which I thought was below par and much prefer the first 3 albums(only just heard How Dare You for the first time yesterday). Feel The Benefit has never grabbed me, for some reason, and I feel that if it had, I would've like the album a lot more.

Highlights of the concert, for me, were "Second Sitting","I'm Mandy" and the acapella version of "Donna"
