Hey, you'd better let me know asap if the tickets have gone missing and I need to apply for a job at the Stables! wink

Think Floyd, 19th April, Hayes.

Looking forward to seeing this Pink Floyd tribute band for the first time tonight. They will be the seventh different Pink Floyd tribute band that I have seen, the others being:

  1. The Australian Pink Floyd
  2. Echoes
  3. The Floyd Effect
  4. In The Flesh
  5. Off The Wall
  6. Perfect Alibi

cool

Think Floyd were excellent at The Stables when I saw them.

I've also seen a Scottish Floyd tribute band called "MacFloyd" (I'm not joking either). They supported ReGenesis in Croydon many years ago and were a bit average to be honest.

There was another band a few years ago called "Pink Fraud" which I always thought was a good name grin

I've heard that there are only 4 people in the band. Every Pink Floyd tribute band I've seen has had at least 5, including 2 guitarists. The title track from Wish You Were Here, amongst others, definitely requires 2 guitarists, so it'll be interesting to see how they play it. wink

I remember seeing that name but they split shortly afterwards. My favourite name for a tribute band is still the Spanish Genesis tribute band called "Harold And The Barrels"! grin

If the tickets for Jean and I have gone astray, be afraid.....be very afraid....

Remember, in the back of the music venue, once the gig has started, no-one can hear you scream....

He is a superb quitarist so is able to make up for it.

On that particular track, the bass player switches to guitar for the opening passages wink

Mmm, wonder if G2 will play 'Inside and Out' as an encore? I love that track and the link into 'Musical Box' on their new EP.

The joke can go on right up until 7.59pm on May 11th! wink But I WILL have a sense of humour failure if I'm left outside, hastily filling in an application form for a toilet attendant or similar just to get into the venue! cheesy

Excellent band, although I missed the first 20 minutes! shocked angry Since when did the time shown on the ticket for a theatre gig mean the time the band is on stage?! undecided It was nice to hear Sheep for the first time in a while and during an extended Live At Pompeii section they played Careful With That Axe Eugene and Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun. smiley From gaps in the setlist I assume that I probably missed Shine On You Crazy Diamond and Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2). sad Next time I go and see them I'll go early. wink
