ericm - that is an awesome schedule of upcoming shows, I am jealous!

Thanks peng. I'm really looking forward to them.

Red Rocks has been on my bucket list forever so when MMJ announced the show, I knew I had to do it. The show the night before is a nice bonus too. We're also going to do a brewery tour and Rockies game while we're out there. grin

Living in the Northeast helps to get to the rest. We're definitely lucky as far as that goes, and maybe a bit spoiled too. wink

Uh, Eric, wouldn't it be a lot easier to simply become a roadie for MMJ? Oh wait, that's JC's plan...

Enjoy the gig, Nige! I'm going to see The Macca Band at the Robin tonight. Not a huge fan of McCartney but Chauffeur Jez has won two free tickets and offered me one of them! Just in the mood for a few sherbets tonight! wink grin

Well I know it would be cheaper Henry, easier I'm not so sure... sounds like too much hard work, and definitely wouldn't want to have to go through JC to get the gig! wink

JC and Jon are coming to the MPP show, and JC will be my traveling companion up to Boston as well as Philly.

Any chance you might want to join us in Boston? It's a Sunday night show. Let me know if you do, and I'll see what I can do about finding you a decent seat. It's pretty close to sold out I think, and nothing really good left, but I think I could ask around and find something good for you.

Thanks for the invite Eric, but that probably won't work out for me. Would like to see MMJ some time on this tour. They were here just this past Monday, but there was also some bloody Irish band in town. tongue

Another excellent tribute band. After the first couple of tracks where the sound mix wasn't quite right - drums too loud, guitar too quiet - they got it sorted and improved as the evening went on. The nice thing about seeing different tributes to the same band - this was my third or fourth LZ tribute band - is that they all play slightly different set lists. Thus we didn't get usual staples such as Dazed And Confused and Moby Dick, but did get The Rain Song and Trampled Underfoot. And their versions of Since I've Been Loving You and Kashmir were the best I've heard from a tribute band. Great stuff. cool

You're welcome Henry, too bad it won't work out. I'll keep you posted on the planned, but as of now, unannounced NYC show/shows.
