Looks like I'm going to have to cancel. cry My mate was working near Stevenage today and somebody's been hit by a train at Alexandra Palace, meaning massive delays on all trains in to Kings Cross. cry I'm not going to go on my own as the whole point of the evening is to watch the band and have a few drinks together.

Thanks Lesley. The only good thing is that whilst I've reserved tickets I haven't paid for them. I shall call the venue shortly as a courtesy to cancel. If Rob manages to make it back before closing time we'll pop to a pub for a swift couple of pints. smiley

Well Paul Simon cancelled on Monday, then Alan H tells me Los Endos have pulled out of tomorrow's gig at Bournemouth Pier. What have I done? Next show for me confirmed is the Zombies in Wimborne in November, but knowing my luck they'll find some excuse...............

Indeed, last year U2 were supposed to be here July 3/2010 but cancelled because of Bono's back problem, next week they come (July 11th) and that is the 'make up' show!

Well you should be OK as their appearance at Glastonbury this year was also a 'make up' for missing it last year. Mind you, the old boy needs to take it a bit easier now - after all he is in his 50s. wink
