Failed miserable at getting in the Paul McCartney show so I guess the next one is Roger Waters.

Shoot I smell badly of cigarette smoke after standing outside that venue for an hour! Ew.

Still have to get my Peter Gabriel tickets, I got to find somebody who's willing to go with me. Still don't have a driving license...

Love Ultravox, especially the Midge Ure fronted version. But I don't think they ever sounded much like Genesis, either with Midge Ure or John Foxx. undecided

Monday 23rd of August:
Mike Mainieri (vibraphone player from "Steps Ahead") live in studio (Rainbow Studios in Oslo - same place where Pat Metheny & Lyle Mays recorded "as Wichita falls so falls Wichita falls") doing a concert/video recording of his new project "Nothern Lights" featuring some great Scandinavian musicians.

August 28th:
Jean Michel Jarre & Röyksopp live at Akershus Festning (old medieval fortress), Oslo (outdoor concert - lots of lasers and fireworks! Awesome!)

September 24th:
Bel Canto (Norwegian syntpop/electronic) band live @ Rockefeller, Oslo

Provided I can rob a pension queue for the ticket money, Jean Michel Jarre in Glasgow on 3rd October will be my next, and only gig this year.
