Orange County Classic Jazz Festival - August 6, 7, 8
This is something I look forward to every year. We've been going to this Classic Jazz Festival for around 10 years now.
This is not contemporary jazz. The music is early 20th century/late 19th century jazz; ie, stride piano, Dixieland, big-band and more.
You Brits may have heard of Neville Dickie. He's a stride pianist from England who's been playing for decades.
Really looking forward to this! cool

Spock's Beard - September 12
What can I say, their new album is brilliant. Wow! cool

CalProg 2010 - October 2nd
MiRthkon
District 97
RPWL
Ambrosia

This gig is going to be lots of fun! Anyone over 50 has heard Ambrosia's hits on the radio. They started out as a prog band in the early 70s, then went over to pop music. For this gig, they'll be reaching into their prog roots, plus I'm sure we'll hear some of their pop hits as well; ie, Biggest Part Of Me, How Much I Feel, Holding On To Yesterday, Nice, Nice, Very Nice, etc. cool
