Pendragon gig was excellent despite Nick suffering from the flu and only his voice at times gave the game away plus lashings of sweat.

Great set list:

Comatose
Indigo
Freakshow
Eraserhead
It's only me
2am
Paintbox
Not of this World
If I was the Wind
Master of Illusions
Nostradamus (Stargazing)
Breaking the Spell

Crowd were well behaved mostly during their set although one a**hole kept shouting how he loved Clive and told Nick to get off stage (drunk skunk). Nick was blown away with the reception after beginning the show with Indigo and the crowd were on top form - around 350-400 there.

Abel Ganz played support for around 45 minutes and liked the familiar stuff but not too keen on when they allowed guest artists to do some folk tunes which was a little boring. Crowd were a disgrace laughing and talking througout the set and kind of summed up my reasons for virtually stopping gig going. No respect for the artist and unfortunately as long as people continue getting as much booze down them as possible this will continue. I was standing near a table of dizzy females who did not even know who the bands were but simply wanted to consume as much booze as possible while shrieking with laughter all night - I would have sold my soul to the devil for a handful of tazers just to shut them up.

All in all Pendragon were on form and the band were simply fabulous with Nick showcasing just how good he is as a guitarist - certainly in my top 5 of all time. The man is just awesome.

Brian Setzer Orchestra. It's the Montreal jazz festival opening show on June 25. Free outdoor gig. Usually this event draws 100000 persons every year, regardless who's giving the show. Last year it was Stevie Wonder.
