The Blockheads+Eddie And The Hotrods and The Boomtown Rats (- a certain front man) @ The Electric Ballroom, Camden.

Norman Watt-Roy, possibly the best Bass player with the worst teeth still alive today... Just. smiley

(It was excellent)

Saw Ian Drury and the Blockheads on Ian's final tour. The set started with Wake Up and Make love to me. That BASS riff is one of the best things ever in the world! Awesome.

The Michael Schenker Group tomorrow night.
My favourite drummer, Chris Slade, is in the engine room for the UK tour, so this should be a great gig. smiley

Oooo, I'm jealous - haven't seen them for years.

Last time I had a ticket, he went into rehab the day of the gig!

Enjoy.

Well, apart from hopefully managing to get to see as many tribute gigs as possible this year - I am thrilled to be going to see 30 Seconds to Mars in February and HIM in March ! grin Seen them both before and love them to bits - these were very unexpected but welcome presents. Sammy and Joe are coming to 30STM with me and Sammy is coming to see HIM. Happy bunny (mouse) grin

No gigs planned for 2010 and kind of giving up the idea altogether based on my experiences in 2009. Too expensive and mostly a hassle. Only a Camel gig may change my mind.

I have some seated gigs planned. Not keen on standing gigs for more or less the same reasons as you Ned. Although some people at seated gigs choose to stand! Still, it is good to have a seat there if I need to sit down. Getting old aren't I? Young at heart though! cheesy
