So Wednesday 8th I'm off to see Mike and the Mechanics in Cambridge.

Later on this month I'm going to see Black Star Riders in London.

Booked so far for 2017:

March: ARW, Goldfrapp
May: Steve Hackett, KT Tunstall
June: Kraftwerk
July: Radiohead
Sept: Sigur Ros

All London venues except Kraftwerk, Edinburgh and Radiohead, Manchester.

Hannah Lou Clark and Jane Weaver have been doing gigs so I'm hoping to see them too.

Forgot to post up for April 1:

Jane Siberry + Mary Margaret O'Hara in a house concert in Toronto. It was wonderful. MMO was brilliant and odd as usual and very sweet to meet in person.

You should have come. It was a series of house concerts at Jane's sister's house, Friday through Monday. Jane headlined the Saturday one. MMO headlined Sunday and Monday. And Genevieve Marentette, a talented singer I hadn't heard of, headlined on Friday. MMO and GM backed up Jane and each took a lead on a song. In addition to some Jane originals, they played a wide range of covers - My Favourite Things, Girl from Ipanema, Nature Boy.

To which I can now add, Crystal Castles in June.

Saw Steve Hackett in Leipzig tonight. Great show. The first hour was dedicated to Steve`s solo stuff and the next one and a half hours were a Genesis performance with an emphasis on Wind And Wuthering, which was released 40 years ago. A memorable evening.
