Quidam
Beardfish
Carptree
Sean Filkins
Journey
(their latest album, Eclipse, is quite a surprise...Neal Schon really pulls some muscle guitar work on this one. A real throwback to their early work. I've always loved their first three albums, before Steve Perry came on board, but this new singer, Arnel Pineda, who sounds very much like Perry, brings something more to the table. I consider myself a prog snob, but I must say this is a very nice album, for sure.

Resonate from Journey's "Eclipse"

Eclipse is great isn't it?My standout track is To Whom It May Concern, but all in all i think it's a great album.I saw them live a few weeks back and they were superb.Your right about Arnel Pineda bringing something to the table, first impressions were of a guy that just sounded like Perry, but he has his own stamp thats for sure. The same applies to Kelly Hansen from Foreigner aswell.Much more than a Lou Gramm soundalike. They too were on the same bill as Journey and were even more outstanding on the night.

Nice. Which Rush albums have you been listening to? Have you heard the 2007 album Snakes & Arrows? Whilst not especially progressive and quite different from their 1970s and 1980s output, it's got some killer riffs and great tunes on it. smiley
