Not a lot different from the previous time I posted..
At least three of the previous five mentioned are still getting a lot of listening to.

The other two spots would be filled by:
Caravan
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young + their various offshoots (i.e. solo, C&N, Manassas, Buffalo Springfield, The Byrds, etc.)

I managed to finally get hold of a brand new copy (still sealed) of God Has Failed. Of course, you'd already sent me a copy of it, and I've played it loads, but I wanted the original, and now I have it. It's a great debut and probably my second favourite RPWL album, just behind the monumental Trying To Kiss The Sun.
I don't care if they do sound a lot like Floyd, that's part of the attraction for me. smiley

I remember hearing this album when I bought it on recommendation from CD services (Dundee) in 2000 and it blew me away from start to finish. I like all the albums but prefer World through my eyes better than Trying to kiss the sun mainly as it is more varied and they leave the Floyd influence further behind and adopt a slightly Porcupine Tree feel to some of the songs (in a mellow way and not heavy as such). Still, super band.

Yes, you're absolutely right Col. I haven't got their live album yet, but that's supposed to be very good as well. I hope they release a dvd some day soon. That would be worth having. smiley
