Unifaun - "Unifaun"

Amazing album by Nad Sylvan, vocalist for Agents Of Mercy.

I've been looking for this CD since last October, and finally found it at my favorite music store.

If you love the best of what Genesis put out; ie, Wind And Wuthering, Selling England By The Pound, Trick Of The Tail, etc, you'll love this CD.

They've only got the one album, but it's over 70 minutes long and is near perfect, in my opinion.

I haven't seen the Unifaun CD amongst the trillions of items you've sent me, but I'd hardly say you were slacking wink

So much wonderful music has come my way via Scotland, and I must say that I have extreme respect for your vast knowledge of all things prog. You 'da man, Ned! grin

I got Pink Floyd's Ummagumma with some of my birthday vouchers, because of Stuart Maconie having it as a featured album on the Freak Zone during December. I wanted it for The Narrow Way and Grantchester Meadows especially.

I also bought the Rutles DVD in HMV's sale. Although Uncut gave it a rave review, I feel Prism/2nd Sight's transfer of the video is pretty muddy visually. Warner/Rhino's soundtrack CD is excellent, but the DVD seems knocked out on about a millionth of the budget.

I wanted to see if there was any more of 'Yellow Submarine Sandwich' besides the 'Cheese & Onions' bit, not more of Sir Mick Jagger nattering!

Blast from the past and so glad to have finally got the remastered and extended versions of the following John Foxx albums:

Metamatic
The Garden (his finest album ever)
The Golden Section
In Mysterious Ways
Cathedral Oceans I, II and III
The Golden Section Tour +

John was one of the original members of Ultravox and produced some wonderful synth pop songs with the Garden a departure to more lush sounds along with his pop style.

Anyone else remember him around the early 80s?

Yes, he had a number of hits around the early 80s with Burning Car, Europe after the Rain, Dancing like a Gun and No one Driving to name but a few.

The River Flows Volume 1

which is the Iona box set containing the first three albums and a bonus disc with a 60 page book.

It's NOW out of print but I was able to get a copy on ebay at a reasonable price.

It's lovely to listen to. Really pleased to get a copy of this.
