Go get Delicate Flames of Desire which is their best album. Rachel Jones is lead singer while the guitarist (Paul Davis) is even better. Brilliant album

That is next on my list.I would've bought it on Thursday but they only had The Gathering Light and a couple of Hayley Griffiths' cd's

Though a fan of 80s/90s songstresses like Vega and McLachlan and Amos and Lennox, I've passed this one up for a couple of decades. Picked it up on eBay for nickels, and I'm glad I did. Tuneful, relaxing songs for a stressful day.

Wonderful album. Natalie has been a favorite on mine since her 10,000 Maniac days. There is a highfalutin vinyl version of this that I need to pick up some time.

Another eBay purchase. I've owned the LP for over a third of a century, but now I have this excellent album on CD. smiley

I've paid 8.31 (inc. P&P) for it on Amazon marketplace, which is great value for a double CD running to over two and a half hours. cool

For a while, I've been interested in expanding my collection of The Roches.
I just had their two albums produced by Robert Fripp - they were probably the CDs I listened to the most the past year.

On the weekend I ordered Speak (The Roches), and since I was in Toronto, I headed down to the shops and found the newly reissued Seductive Reasoning (Maggie and Terre Roche).
