I love the Moody Blues very much. Come to think of it, they were the first prog band I ever got into, back in 2005-ish. smiley

Same here, but it was more like 1967-ish. tongue

1976 for me. A friend had played a song by a band called Raw Material, the song was Miracle Worker, which was quite nice, so he taped the whole album "Time is Raw Material" and as it was only about 32 minutes long, he tailed the cassette off with Never Comes the Day, and It's up to you, and the rest, as they say..............

Still think the Moodies Core 7 albums are the best 7 consecutive albums by any band ever. Absolute gems.

Clockwise from top left: The Beach Boys -- Endless Summer (2xLP); Various Artists -- The Kindness of Strangers (1980s British charity comp feat. The Wedding Present and others); Smashing Pumpkins -- Pisces Iscariot (in really nice-looking gold vinyl); Depeche Mode -- Pro-A-5192 (2x12"); Depeche Mode -- A Broken Frame; Peter Gabriel -- So (not like we didn't already have a few copies of this, but the price was right).

This is the crowning jewel in the entire pile of vinyl that I bought today...I cannot express how happy I am to own this LP. This was one of the most important albums to me as a teenager, and I still love it today; I never expected to find it on vinyl, as it's super rare to begin with, let alone with the bonus LP, which was only released in the US and not in the band's native Canada, where they are far more popular.

Sloan -- One Chord To Another w/bonus Live At A Sloan Party LP (The Enclave, 1997).

Sorry for the questionable photo quality...the batteries in my regular camera are dead, so I had to use my cell phone.

It's working well -- the problem seems to have resolved itself, I guess? Not sure how that works...but I'm happy about it! grin
