No, but I'm seriously considering waiting until you're at a gig and coming up there to take that from you! wink I'll probably have to wait 'til Xmas to get mine. (Hmmm, I wonder how early Chanuka comes this year....)

I FINALLY GOT IT! grin grin grin grin grin

I asked for it for Christmas but I saw it in a music shop for 4 and I couldn't resist! grin

About to listen to it right now... I am very, very excited. Once again, I apologise to all of you for taking so damn long to buy what many call the greatest progressive rock masterpiece in history. But now I have it... let's all act like I always had it wink

Also, sorry for trying to impress you so much with all these prog albums I'm presenting you with. I just can't stop buying albums, and when I buy all these essential albums you guys always rave on about, it makes me feel like I've become more and more equal to the pack - now I can rave on with you about how good The Lamb is. I just hope there's still time smiley

It was indeed 4, and that definitely is amazing value! The only downside is, it makes Genesis seem underpriced, as if their music isn't good enough to be priced highly. But it isn't just good, it's incredible, so calling The Lamb 4 is technically insulting laugh

Oh well. It was a terrific album, I heard the whole thing last night. It did have one unfortunate flaw - I thought the story was ridiculously convoluted. It made no sense in the slightest. I know it's meant to be an album symbolising the birth of a child and everything, but the lyrics were still entirely nonsensical.

But the music more than made up for the lyrical madness. I'd already heard "Counting Out Time", "The Carpet Crawlers", "In The Cage", "The Lamb Lies Down and Broadway" and "The Colony of Slippermen". But listening to them on the album still made them feel like I was hearing them for the first time, and all the other new songs were fabulous too.

I don't know why some people here have said it's hard to get into. It took me one listen to take it in and love it. The only track I didn't like was "The Waiting Room" for obvious reasons, but it didn't spoil my enjoyment of the album at all. It was terrific.

The Waiting Room is best listened to at maximum volume in total darkness. wink I love it as it is the band at their most experimental. smiley

I bought that about a month ago. Four out of five tracks are good. The song "Moonchild" is completely bare-bones after two and a half minutes, though.

Kraftwerk - The Man-Machine

My first purchase from this band.
During my teens, I dismissed Kraftwerk as a novelty band after a friend played me Autobahn.
But in the past few months, something piqued my interest in this band, and I started looking into Kraftwerk and found an album of theirs I like.
At some point, I might follow up with Computer World.
