Got it for 5 off eBay. Was in fair condition, so I might frame it.

I'm sure some would poo-poo this--the sisters had the audacity to think they were the female versions of Plant and Page, then in the '80s they went all soft-rock--but it's a seminal album of my youth. The first concert I ever attended was Heart (along with Styx and Foreigner, both of whom paled in comparison). You can have yer Styx and yer Kansas and yer Journey... "Crazy On You" and "Magic Man" were iconic rock-radio songs of the '70s, "Dreamboat Annie" (and its reprise) is a beautiful ballad, and "White Lightning and Wine" is bluesy-rock worthy of Zeppelin's later work.

cool

Besides, as I sat in the fifth row at the age of 17, Ann Wilson stared straight into my eyes as she sang "Comin' straight on for you...", and melted me. I've loved her ever since. smiley

I saw them live at Cal Jam in 1978. Fantastic festival!

Here are some clips of Heart performing at Cal Jam. Brings back some great memories. I was all of 20 years old.
