I don't believe I've ever before bought two albums by the same artist at the same time--released more than 40 years apart. shocked

One of my fave EJ albums. Every song is great, "Country Comfort" especially.

Spock's Beard's version of the song "Beware of Darkness," originally composed and recorded by George Harrison on his amazing double album 'All Things Must Pass,' is very good, and they did a fine job of making it their own . It would be nice to hear them perform it in concert.

Jethro Tull - Christmas Album

For the last while, it had become an annual ritual around this time of year.
I would take a good hard look at this album online, but for some reason I would never proceed with the purchase.
This time I looked, it was reasonably priced, I thought no excuses, CLICK.

One of the four albums I purchased on Amazon hasn't arrived yet (the Dire Straits debut album). I hope it turns up soon, otherwise I'm going to be a bit miffed.

Agreed, I listened to it twice today. It's been many many years since I listened to the whole thing, as I have it on LP, and I recently realized I have to have all the old Elton albums on CD. Don't Shoot Me... is the only one left for me to get.

cool

It seems that to get a CD from Amazon.co.uk on the day of release, you need to use first class delivery or their "Prime" service. But this would cost extra meaning that any saving compared to, say, HMV or Sainsburys, would be wiped out. This CD/DVD was officially released on Monday, but I probably won't receive it until tomorrow or Thursday. sad
