I can't resist, whenever I buy things for other people at Christmas, especially if I'm on a site like Amazon, I always have to get a little something for myself too.

Caravan - The Unauthorized Breakfast Item

This arrived shortly before Christmas, so I wrapped it and put it under the tree, prompting my wife to give me one of these rolleyes as I was unwrapping it this morning.

Just finished listening to it for the first time, and have to say I was very impressed.
This was their last studio release (2004) but after one listen I would say this was their best album in over 30 years.
The quality is consistent from beginning to end, which is more than I can say for some of the Caravan albums that followed that great run they had from the early 70s.
The last Caravan album that was this good IMO was For Girls Who Grow Plump In The Night.

A great album!

Really excited to be seeing Caravan for the first time on Jan 16th cool

Caravan, the quintessential precursors to the British Prog Rock movement, have announced a very special UK Tour for January 2013.

The UK tour will see Caravan celebrating the 40th Anniversary of what many critics regard to be the quintessential prog album of all time; 1973's "For Girls Who Grow Plump In The Night". The band will perform a number of songs from the critically acclaimed 4th album, and the show will also include songs from "In The Land Of Grey And Pink", plus other songs spanning their dazzling career.
