Out of curiosity Squigs, did he order from Amazon.co.uk, Play.com or Hmv.com? The reason I ask is that whilst Play.com got me Rush's Clockwork Angels on the release date, Amazon.co.uk were 2 days late with Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto last year. angry I'm debating who to order Muse's The 2nd Law from as the prices are all very similar.

Very nice album. I would rate the Keane albums as follows:

  1. Hopes And Fears
  2. Strangeland
  3. Under The Iron Sea
  4. Perfect Symmetry

I still like Perfect Symmetry, apart from Spiralling and Better Than This, which sound to me like very cheesy 1980s songs. undecided

Hmv.com. Play.com are usually good too though, but they were dearer for this one.

It's my pleasure to inform you about superior slices of prog music which might not be to everyone’s tastes - but which surely deserves to be heard by a large audience. smiley

Hi there

Most recently purchased an album that Mr Hackett had recommended to me over 20 years ago. John Renbourn's superb Sir John A Lot Of... which I found by chance in our local music store. Thoroughly recomment it too.

Lalle Larson's Weaveworld-Nightscapes
Agents Of Mercy-The Black Forest

Both bought at last night's The Flower Kings gig in Holmfirth

The Reasoning-Adventures In Neverland has arrived this afternoon too smiley

I pre-ordered it a few days ago from Play.com for £8.99. Amazon.co.uk was 2p cheaper and HMV.com was 1p dearer. However, Play.com were the only ones offering what appears to be a jewel case version as opposed to "softpack" or "digipack" versions, i.e. cardboard cases leading to scratched discs. angry Anyway here's hoping that it gets to me on or before next Monday. wink
