Correct! Perhaps if I'd put it in some sort of nostalgia based 60's comedy setting, he'd have got it sooner! grin

Or thrown in a witch, an activity that was very popular near ponds in the 1600's!

Not likely. grin

However, if you'd mentioned that he has a CD soundtrack of a 2001 film based on an opera written in 1900, which was based on an 1887 play that recounted historical events that took place in 1800... that might have helped.

In fact, over the past few pages of this thread, you are obviously the only one confused.

I commend you, Henry, on your Fonzie-like ability to absolutely dismiss the notion that you could ever be wrong about anything, ever, but really... there's nothing shameful in admitting that you didn't get the joke.

I'm confused over how you could be confused that I wasn't confused about the nature of your comment, merely making a gag based on your odd, but perfectly acceptable use of language to describe the arrival of your CD.

Then again, any excuse to prolong an argument, eh Henry? You must be the only person who'd talk the hind legs off a donkey, then try and persuade it to go for a walk afterwards. cheesy

Really? You seem to be the one who wants to prolong this.

I merely asked an honest question, then wind up being attacked personally as a result. Your sense of self-righteousness is sorely misplace.

Attacked personally? Sorry you see it like that, but I'd guess it's better than snidey "have-a-go"'s like "I will not explain how I obtained this item for fear of confusing anyone", particularly as it had already been explained to you, not just by me, that I wasn't confused.

Still, you wanna wind up the discussion, suits me.

I'll let you have the last word! lipsrsealed

I recently bought 90125 by Yes at Hastings. I was looking for King Crimson albums, but I couldn't find any.
Also recently bought The Who Sell Out and Piper at the Gates of Dawn on iTunes.

I've been looking for this on CD for years. But for some reason - deletion? huh - it has been difficult to find unless you were prepared to pay about 20 for a used copy. undecided But a remastered edition is being released on 30th July and I've pre-ordered it from HMV.com for 5. cool For those who don't know, it features a certain Phil Collins on drums on a couple of tracks. smiley
