A lovely "undiscovered" album. Highly recommended for fans of Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Travis and Keane. But not for those in the "it's not prog therefore it's crap" brigade. wink

It doesn't have to be prog for me to love it, but if those are the bands you say are similar to Starsailor, then it's definitely not for me. Thanks for the warning grin

No problem CoT. It was just a bit of friendly pre-Christmas banter. Based on the album covers we both post here, it is clear that we inhabit completely different planets musically speaking. And that is a perfectly natural and healthy situation. Seasons greetings to you. smiley

Yes, I've got the second album and like it, but not as much as the first. wink

I very strongly recommend this album, which is also "undiscovered":

If you like Coldplay and Keane, then this album is an absolute must-buy. It's in my top ten and I think it is utterly divine, 100x better then the band's first two albums (Colour It In and Wall Of Arms).

I also recommend it to CountingOutTime. No, really, COT - it's a gem, and there are some parts that resemble Pink Floyd, Camel and Porcupine Tree too and these parts serve to elevate it miles above the standards of conventional alternative rock, so I really think you'd enjoy it. It gets a perfect ten from me - a dazzling tapestry of heavenly soundscapes. cool

Buy it. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. smiley

Also, I think I remember seeing that Starsailor album in my Mum's music cupboard. I think I'll check it out. cheesy
