Ouch. Wasn't a fan of this album. sad I'm usually okay with dark and serious music, but I couldn't get into this at all. It just sounded far too miserable and angry for me. I'll give it another go in the future, but it wasn't my kind of thing. undecided

Interesting. I would have thought, you`d like it. for me The Perfect Element and Remedy Lane are two of the greatest albums of the whole genre. I mainly appreciate the guitar work on there, which is quite unique, and of course Daniel Gildenl÷w`s vocals. Simply stunning.

Maybe one day I'll like it more. It wasn't bad or anything, I just didn't really get much out of it.

Like PE a lot but Remedy Lane is their tour de force imho.

Donovan 1965

This double cd includes Donovan`s first two albums What`s been did and what`s been hid and Fairytale. Almost no other music represents my childhood days in a way as these albums do.

Turquoise
Ballad Of Geraldine
Colours
Ballad Of A Crystal Man
Try For the Sun
Catch The Wind

are songs, that make me smile and feel peaceful and happy every time, I listen to them.

One of my favourite compilations. Although it is a greatest hits album, it is as consistent as a regular release. A fabulous combination of greatest hits and various songs, that are lesser known such as Horse Latitudes or You Need Meat. For me it is the definite Doors album. The only song missing is Light My Fire.
