Another great Supertramp album that doesn't get much attention is Famous Last Words (1982). Their live DVD is also fabulous, from 1979, recorded in Paris, with an audio album from the same gig. Great stuff!!

I wish I could understand the lyrics better. The music is great though.

Agreed. Got Famous Last Words since the day of its release. Live in Paris is another classic live album equally estimated as albums like Hot August Night, For Way Street or Live at Leeds.

A great band instrumentally , but I found the vocalist strained on quite a few tracks, specially the high notes.. The last track he made up for sounding very reasonable. Not sure why this band goes through a lot of vocalists?... Their earlier releases sounded great!!.... smiley

Musically from the band itself, this album is excellent!.... Thank you COT!!..... smiley

Still listening to: Anima Mundi - I Me Myself

I agree with all the comments about the vocals. I don't know why they didn't stick to Carlos Sosa, he was superb with a great range too, his English wasn't bad either.
Nevertheless, this band is, musically, fantastic. A great discovery thanks to COT - cheers Dave! cool

I read somewhere that the previous vocalists have moved to the states while the band remains in Cuba. They don't seem to have much confidence in the current singer. Read below from their website.

We are looking forward with faith for the best results possible with Michel and at the same time, we feel very lucky to have shared our musical journey along with great singers and friends that after all had broaden the crew of our prog starship
