Going to take a few listens but initially not as good as EE1 or 2. Not sure but I think it lacks the melodies of the last 2 albums and the likes of Uncle Jack, Judas Unrepentant and Swan Hunter. It is brilliantly produced and feel the album has more strings and less keyboards so the big lush sounds are not as prevalent on this album which may be the whole point in a more folk centric direction. I may change my mind after a few more listens but I miss the big epic track like The Underfall Yard, Wide Open Sea and East Coast Racer which all make the hairs on my neck rise - nothing so far on this album has done that yet.

Yep, I agree with all that. smiley

Now playing: Frost - Falling Satellites

Is I Still Do worth buying?

I'm amazed at the amount of stuff you guys listen to. The only time I listen to whole albums these days is in the car (cuurently Duke). I should list the next some to come up on the iPod.

If you like the Slowhand album or pretty much any of the 70s Clapton stuff, you'll like this album. I think it's great.
