Their best album imho

At the moment I'm not sure what my favourite Pallas album is; need to keep listening to them. However, TCATC is a very strong album indeed. The song Midas Touch is exhilarating!

When I hear the song, it reminds me of the other minions. Makes me wonder if the band was being opportunistic, since the movie was hyped so much, or was it just a coincidence. Eother way, they both suck duck eggs..

Spock's Beard - The Oblivion Particle (Thanks to COT again)

Only my second listen but I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would to be honest. Not sure if I'll buy it yet or not, probably will at some point.
Probably a bit more straightforward and commercial in places than we're used to, but I don't mind that sometimes. cheesy

Peter Gabriel - Peter Gabriel

At the start of this year, I listened to this album once and was very disappointed. However, when listening to it, I remember being in a bad mood, and during that period I was a bit bored with new music. Now I've regained my love for music again and I'm happier, I may now enjoy this album. smiley

Yep, I enjoyed it a lot more than last time. I still think some of it isn't that good though. Humdrum and Waiting For The Big One were boring to me, the latter especially, and Excuse Me, while slightly catchy, I thought was pretty annoying. The rest of the album was rather entertaining.

In the next few weeks, I'll check out the rest of his albums (So excluded, since I've already heard it numerous times). I'm particularly looking forward to hearing Peter Gabriel III, OVO and Up.

Awesome album! Wow, thanks for posting this. Been eons since I've listened to it. Going to have to get it on CD. I've seen Bruford numerous times with John Clark on guitar, Allan Holdsworth on guitar, with Yes and with Earthworks. What an amazing talent. I don't want to forget Dave Stewart on keys and Jeff Berlin on bass. These guys together onstage were a force to be reckoned with. Great memories!!
