Just got this. Excellent and a bit darker than last one In Crescendo.

First I've heard of Kingcrow. Nice quality recording. I enjoyed it very much.

The Doors Weird Scenes Inside The Goldmine

I like this compilation more, than any regular Doors album. For me this is the definite Doors album. Simply stunning from beginning to end.

I havenít listened to Led Zeppelin for years, but I put IV on the other dayÖ Wow! Iíd forgotten just how good they are, and Bonham on drums is just a force of nature, Iíve had When the Levee Breaks going round and round in my head ever since.

It also triggered off happy memories of seeing Page and Plant at the Cornwall Coliseum on their ďNo QuarterĒ tour. Good heavens, Iíve just looked the gig up and it was almost exactly 20 years ago, 15th July 1995! The venue was just a walk from my friendís house and right on the beach, it was a lovely day too, and before it started we took our drinks out on to the beach to enjoy the summer evening (that might be why I donít remember the support act, neither of us were particular fans of Big Country so we probably opted to sit out their set). Page and Plant opened with Whole Lotta Love, the sort of performance another band might finish with, so I wondered how they could possibly follow that Ė but they did! The Egyptian and Moroccan musicians really added an extra dimension to the music as well, particularly on Kashmir.

Iíve also just read that the Coliseum was demolished in May after having been left to rot for years by the developer that owns the site...

Isaac Hayes - 'Hot Buttered Soul'
His version of 'By the Time I Get to Pheonix' on here is epic!

Love that song. Only know it by Glen Campbell.

I watched a CNN special on Glen Campbell the other night. The show was meant to shine a light on the crippling effects of Alzheimer's disease. I shed a few tears during the show. Very sad, but he was able to perform over 100 shows during this time. Amazing.

I was fortunate to have been able to see Glen peform in 1968 in Las Vegas, during his peak period. I remember my Dad getting upset because tickets were $20 each. Try and get tics today for a Vegas show for under $250 cheesy

Led Zep rules!! Not a fan of the Plant/Page non-Zep stuff. Their legacy has been left to trib bands to carry on ever since Bonham passed. There was no Led Zeppelin after that. I applaud them for that.

Magic Pie: King For A Day.

Their best album yet with a fantastic closing title track. Norway rocks!

This has to be the best recording of Yes live. I enjoy the 'Ascension I and II' discs, but this takes the cake.

The sound is so clear and I love hearing Chris' bass so crisp and up front smiley
