I wasn't into that album either. I also wasn't big on Pepper's Ghost. However, I quite enjoyed The Visitor and Contagion, and Immortal? wasn't bad. Arena certainly isn't one of my favourite bands, but they're okay.

I'm not surprised grin My taste in music is near boundless.

What do you think of 'Wolflight'?

For me, there's plenty to enjoy, but I do find him reaching that point in his career where he is becoming somewhat samey. Still, there aren't many out there who can compare. Neal Morse has the same problem. Maybe a new vocalist would do the trick. It seemed to work pretty well for Neal on his last album, 'The Grand Experiment.'

Iím not so keen on the vocal style but whenever he plays guitar he canít go wrong. I can hear similarities throughout "Wolflight" with some of his early tracks but I wonder whether in this context being unfamiliar with most of his post-1970s solo work might be an advantage, as some of it does sound quite new & not typical Steve to me.
