I can tolerate some Nirvana songs, and I actually thought their third song, sung by that vocalist from St. Vincent, was pretty good. Thank the heavens they didn't let Courtney Love sing. shocked I do often enjoy watching Dave Grohl go apeshit on his drumset.

Yes, Dave Grohl has done an admirable job on both guitar and drums in his career. There's a TV special that focuses on Grohl's purchase of Sound City Studios in L.A. where tons of top quality albums were recorded by some of the great 70s music artists. Dave wanted to obtain the mixing board which was considered to be the reason these albums sounded so amazing. In order to do this, he had to purchase the studio. The mixing board now resides in Dave Grohl's home studio. Now all these famous musicians want to record with him using this mixing board. Great story. If you get a chance, check out the Sound City Studios movie. Here's a link with some footage. Not sure if they're showing this in the UK or not.

Ambrosia - 'Ambrosia' (debut)

This is a near-perfect album, IMO cool

Bit o'Trivia - This album was engineered by none other than Alan Parsons who later invited the members of Ambrosia to play on Alan's 'Tales Of Mystery And Imagination' album, along with the bands Pilot, Sky and members of Curved Air.
