I only know it's Abbey Road because I backclicked and looked at the properties of the image to see the name.
However, the image doesn't appear - it's just the dreaded red X.

Same here. The amended image link works, but the "quote" with the old one is not visible.

This has happened a lot, and there are 2 solutions:

1/ Always put the name & artist in text along with the image.
2/ After you've posted, copy the page URL and paste it in an inprivate browser session, or a different browser if you have one. If it doesn't show there, no-one else will see it.

Why does this happen? Simple! you search for the image, and it has loaded in your browser. When you then include it in a post, YOUR browser remembers it as it has already cached it, so just displays that. Anyone else looking at it has to download it from the host, BUT if the host server is set to hotlinking (linking to pages or images other than the index page) disabled it will NOT display. People here often say things like "won't display in firefox" or whatever browser they're using. That is irrelevant, its the host that won't let you download it. Because they don't want their server wasting time and energy uploading stuff which they are unlikely to benefit from.

I think John did as marvellous job of producing here, it sounds nothing like their next album, and nothing like the Moodies.

Unlike Justin Hayward, who admitted he was a lousy producer, as his work with Tymon ended up sounding just like himself (Because, as he admitted, he found it easier to just go and "do it himself" than try and get the artist to do it.). A bit like Jeff Lynne, IMO. *

* - By which I mean it all sounds like Jeff Lynne, not Justin Hayward, which would have been so much better. grin
