Another fantastic, jam packed episode Sunday night! One more in a really great season but I was really bummed after it was over and they said only two more episodes left this season! sad Man, that went by too quick.

I know I've said it earlier but I wish we got more than 10 episodes a year.

This year is 12. Still wish it was longer. I so wanna be Lena...

Wow, I didn't know that. Looks like it went by even faster than I thought! wink

Yeah, Lena is bad ass but if you were her you'd also like driving trucks and SUV's! I loved her line about if they hurt Avi. cool

You lot are just spoilt! We donít get 10 episodes a year of anything except soaps. 3 to 6 episodes is a standard length for any series.

In tribute to Gene Wilder watched Stir Crazy, what a very funny film indeed where he ends up in jail with his friend Richard Pryor.

Do you mean a series that continues each year? That's rough,IMO. I could see a one off, what we would call a mini-series, (kind of a short story that has a conclusion) but to only get 3-6 episodes and then wait a whole year for season 2,3,4 etc to pick up where the previous season left off would be tough to take.

As it is, it seems just when a series has hit its stride and really grabs me, it's over before I know it. I guess that's part of the strategy......always leave em wanting more! wink

The big flagship BBC/ITV drama productions seem to get 8 episodes at most (e.g. Broadchurch, Poldark, Downton Abbey, Victoria). Most others get fewer. I guess the US TV companies have more money to spend making them!

I'm not familiar with any of those except Downton Abbey. Are the rest one off seasons or do they return for more than one season?
