I'm an all-eras fan. Of Steve Hackett!

I'm out. Terrible show,IMO. The music is good but that's what radio and albums are for. The rest of the show is Cameron Crowe coming up way short.

I tried one show, didn't look very good. Now I've had reviews from the experts I will erase the rest of the episodes.

I'll continue with Ray F****** Donovan though. cool

I'm really enjoying this season of Ray. It seems to be building and building with each episode and hasn't had a filler episode yet,IMO. Really looking forward to seeing where the rest of the season goes. Based on what we've seen so far, it should be a great second half to the season.

The only thing I'm not crazy about with this and some other premium cable series is how damn short the seasons are. Usually only about ten episodes, and it goes by way too fast. It would be different if they did two seasons a year, but it sucks waiting a whole year for the next season. sad

Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Orphan Black, Ray, to name a few, all seem to follow his pattern.

I still haven't watched Orphan Black. I see its on Demand now, but I'd have to pay for each episode. Keep hoping it will hit Netflix.

Agree with Ray Donovan, it's a really wacky show. And I still love Lena. When Ray had her watching that guy in his house, and she was so grossed out. When he said he had another job for her and she said, 'What, seriously...I'll do anything!' Definite girl crush going on here. grin

Haha. Yeah she's great and I love her too. She's definitely a woman I'd like to have in my inner circle of friends. Totally get the girl crush. smiley

I'll keep an eye out for free showings of Orphan Black for ya. I'm surprised it's not available for free On Demand. Speaking of the show, my girl Tatiana Maslany got nominated again for an Emmy in the Best Actress - Drama catagory. Seriously, if she doesn't win it'll be a damn shame. I think she's the best actress on TV. Hell, she should've gotten nominated for Best Supporting actress as well with the great job she does with all the characters she plays!

Honestly if the main character she plays (Sarah) got her nominated and there were other actresses playing the sisters as well as she does, there's no doubt they would get nominated for supporting actress. That's how great she is at it, IMO.

8-part Netflix series.... I just watched the whole thing.

ET-style, '80s-nostalgic, Spielbergian fun. smiley

Even though Lena wasn't in it, last night's Ray Donovan episode was great!

I'm on Episode 4 of 'The Night Of' Slow but compelling.

Just finished watching this:

A good movie, a funny and heartwarming satire of racism in America. It just needed someone to take a look at some of the scenes and either remove or shorten them. Some parts drag so much, and others weren't necessary. The sloth part especially... I mean, Jesus. rolleyes

But I can't nitpick too much. One of Disney's better recent movies. smiley

Underwhelming episode of Top of the Pops from 1982, a “nice video, shame about the song” week undecided

Yup, another stellar Ray Donovan episode. cool

I think we should start a poll to see what people think Ray's dumb ass son is going to do. Will he shoot someone, himself, or both?

I'm going with the dumb ass shooting himself. grin

Oh yes, not a very subtle lead up to that is it? I think he might shoot that new kid that Terry is training.

Did you like the joke that Mickey told the fed? The one where the punch line was..'Did you jump?' and the guy said 'only at first' grin That cracked me up.

OH man, I can definitely see that but I hope he shoots himself instead! grin

I got a kick out of that joke as well. Not sure the fed did though. wink

I've got a feeling Mickey won't stay in jail for long. Now that Ray took care of the Russian dude, I'm betting Mickey recents his confession or something. He always seems to land on his feet, and spending the rest of his life in jail just doesn't fit the character to me. We shall see.......
