After all, your soul will still surrender
After all, don't doubt your part
Be ready to be loved

It's a great song, but is it just me, or do these lyrics sound slightly... stalker-y?

And will I wait forever
Beside the silent mirror,
And fish for bitter minnows
Amongst the weeds and slimy
...Water?

One of my new favourite Genesis verses. I listened to Trespass again last week and I suddenly realised just how magnificent this verse is, and I kept singing it over and over while in the shower this morning. Such a timeless, elegant set of lyrics... cool

What a brilliant sitcom the original "The Fall And Rise of Reginald Perrin", starring the late great Leonard Rossiter, was. cool

To be honest, I've always felt that "weeds and slimy... water" is one of the band's more awkward phrasings, much in the same way as "the same winds but whereas..." from "Heathaze". The lyrics and music don't really sync. undecided

The surname of the first family I ever made in the original Sims back in 2000, and all the family members died off because at the time I was hilariously inexperienced with it. laugh So many memories playing that after coming home from school and during the Summer holidays with friends round... smiley

There's a new and rather humorous glitch on YouTube, where videos display video ratings with nothing but likes. laugh If you go to Justin Bieber's "Baby" music video, the most disliked video on YouTube, it suddenly has over 5 million likes and no dislikes! laugh Beebs had better enjoy it while it lasts. tongue grin
