To be honest, I don't even know what I was talking about anymore. I just thought - and I am aware that this is incorrect - that the Sun is slowly drifting through space, while the planets are moving around it. I feel stupid. undecided

Why? That's not wrong. The sun is drifting, slow or fast is a matter of perspective. Fast compared to a car, slow compared to light.

edit: Oh wait, you were asking if the planets on their way around the sun are flying faster than the sun is flying through space? That's a good question. Isn't Earth flying at ~300 km/s, relating to the sun as centre of its path? My guess is that the sun orbiting Milky Way should be faster than that. Dammit, all those different relations which movement we're talking of seen from which viewpoint can be confusing grin

Trump must step down. The election is over. He's guilty of sexual assault and is a self-described sexual predator. He is not qualified to be the President of the United States.

I'm not a fan of Hillary's either. We need big changes made, and she'll just be a repeat of the the last presidency. I'm a fan of Obama's, but with a Republican congress, a Democrat President is just a lame duck. Congress will never work with Hillary.

I agree, NSOV - Worst U.S. election period. Ever.

I think the country, and the world, are in deep trouble.

Awful as Trump is, I dont really understand why this tape is expected to scupper him. Surely everyone already knew he was like that? Its a confirmation not a revelation.

Your upcoming presidential debate should be interesting!

As troubling and truly vomit-worthy Trump's actions are, one has to understand that Trump has a veritable hoard of zombies that will not leave him, no matter what he does or says. Maybe the 'basket of deplorables' comment isn't so unfair in the end.

Back in the early 90's, heavy metal singer/songwriter Ronnie James Dio was accused of copyright infringement pertaining to a few pieces of material originally written and recorded by the one and only Phil Collins. Dio absolutely refuted the allegations and vowed to fight and clear his name. As a result, Phil and his lawyers had no other choice but to sue, sue, sue Dio.
