Recently, I've been watching some clips of Ted Cruz speeches and interviews and I agree with Dust that he's worse than Trump. Trump is obnoxious and outspoken but Cruz is far more hateful and deluded in my opinion. Anyway here are a few things that make Trump more likely to be elected President:

- Trump has apparently surpassed John McCain and Mitt Romney in primary votes, so he's more popular than we ever imagined.
- Clinton's popularity is steadily declining. As you mentioned, she comes across to people as a bit too safe and not able to make enough changes.
- Many Bernie Sanders fans are planning to vote for Trump if Hillary Clinton becomes the Democratic nominee (which is going to happen... Sanders has sadly failed) so Trump's going to gain a ton of support from Sanders fans later this year.

Trump has far exceeded expectations which is why I feel like he might end up winning. Then again, maybe he'll lose at the last hurdle. It could go either way. He will definitely be the nominee though. I've been following the presidential race closely and I think it's very exciting.

It’s certainly been very interesting.
When Ronald Reagan was eelcted President in 1980 during the Cold War there was incredulity here & a widespread view here that we were definitely all going to die in the nuclear Armageddon when he pressed the button. As demonstrated in the "Land of Confusion" video, by 1986 that was unlikely enough to have become something of a joke.
Let’s hope the predictions about a Trump presidency are similarly over-pessimistic....

The Byrds performed all their stuff themselves in the studio, the sole exception is the song Mr. Tambourine, their first recording ever, which features Roger McGuinn, Leon Russell, Hal Blaine and Larry Knechthal. The reason was the one you mentioned above, COT. The rest of the band wasn`t considered to be experienced enough to get a proper recording done in due time.

Saying that, I didn`t know about the Wrecking Crew and I don`t know, if the musicians, I mentioned above belong to them.

On their first hit "Mr. Tambourine Man," this was the in-studio lineup. Other than Roger McGuinn, there were no Byrds on the song. Crazy stuff!

•Leon Russell, (piano)
•Laurence W. Knechtel (bass)
•Hal Blaine (drums)
•William Pitman (guitar)
•Jerry Kolbrak (guitar)
•James "Roger" McGuinn (guitar)

No problem. I am grateful for your post about Mr. Tambourine Man. The information I had about the line up on there is from the 4 cd box set, I have. There are only three musicians mentioned, Knechtel being spelled incorrectly. This is the first time, that I read the complete line up. Knechtel, by the way, appeared as session musician on various other Byrds songs in later years but only in addition, not to replace anyone.

It was Larry Knechtel who played the famous piano part in Bridge Over Troubled Water, I believe.

"Go Argos" and "Hotel? Trivago" are honestly two of the laziest company slogans ever devised. tongue

Blatant showing off post.

Met Alex Lifeson from RUSH last Saturday. He was real nice to me, since I was a blubbering fool I was so impressed to meet him. So exciting for me.

Great pic Lily, thanks for posting cool I didn't take it as showing off. You were excited and wanted to share that. That's cool by me.

I'm happy you got to meet Alex and he was so nice to ya. Even though I'm not buying the blubbering fool part. wink

That's a keeper.
Good shot of both of you.

Looks like the two of you are posing in someone's backyard.

Thanks guys.

It was at his golf club. My person plays there too.

10 year anniversary of the club, so Alex Lifeson and Tom Cochrane (also a member) did a show.

About 6 Rush songs, with a guest band called 'The Frogs' - and Tom Cochrane did an great set, amazing how some people come to live when they play live, and then they played some stuff together. It was a fun night.
