I used to love everything about ancient Greece when I was about 5th grade. I even refused German grammar terms in favour of the Greek (and Latin) terms.

I love how the ending is both sad and happy at the same time. You simultaneously feel saddened by George's decision and yet thankful for it.

Do I sort The Jimi Hendrix Experience under J or H?

I would go with 'H' myself.

How do you file Phil Collins or Peter gabriel? Go with the same as them. grin

smiley I usually go by surname, but since The Jimi Hendrix Experience is a band name rather than a personal name, I feel like it's different...

File it under the letter J.

The name of the artist is The Jimi Hendrix Experience. That's the band name. It's a band name containing a member's name, but the name refers to the entire band, not just that one member.

That would be like looking for Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble under S - which I think would be very confusing for most people who know SRV is a real person.

In the case of Hendrix, you'd likely want to file all his music together, otherwise, you'd have the three Experience albums under J, his Band of Gypsies album under B and then any posthumous releases under H.

Well yeah, that was my point, but it's so closely associated with Jimi Hendrix the person that I feel like it belongs with the surname. Also Witchwood's point:

Makes sense to me. I'm putting it under H (which means entering "Hendrix Experience, Jimi" in the "Sort As" field in my iTunes library!) - but I'm leaving The Alan Parsons Project under A! tongue

However, the SNP will be pushing hard for another referendum on whether Scotland should be part of the UK. Given the massive swing to SNP at the General Election, I suspect the next referendum vote will be very different whether President Obama likes it or not.

Would suit me fine, then it can be argued that the English should have its own Parliament (without SNP members being allowed to vote on English matters) and be devolved from the UK also.

Devolution won't go away and the more Scotland and Wales are devolved, the greater the cry will be from England for equal treatment.

Well I sincerely hope not. I see no point in the country going through the whole thing again. If it does happen again I'm sure it won't be for quite a while, though.

Let's face it... just about half the people in this world are below average.
