Well, there is one way. On the page from which you access a topic, there are stats for posts and views. You could keep an eye on those.

I never knew your real name!

Personally I prefer to stick to screen names, makes it easier for everybody to join in. Not that anybody new joins here really. grin

As for the stat page, sounds like way too much work for me!!!!

Yeah, that's a bit anal retentive. If anyone can read my posts and come away with anything useful, great; otherwise, there are bigger fish to fry. I'm mostly on here while I'm working, so I'm only in and out throughout the day, and I'm not checking to see if anyone responded to my posts. I come here primarily because of my love for music, not to get attention.

Like all of us. Nevertheless I feel like a dumb ass at times, when I am posting something, which normally should get a reply by someone, but then doesn`t.

Well. Don`t bother. I think, Dust`s post, I responded to yesterday, wasn`t really meant too seriously by himself.....

So it is!!

I hear what everybody is saying about the replying to posts, but if something really makes me laugh, or a question is being asked or opinions, I do try to respond. I once asked for help on something, and not one person responded. Now I know that is probably because they couldn't help, but it made me feel a bit sad.

Sorry to hear that. I do think that if someone is in need of a reply, especially if it's obvious they're having trouble in their lives, an appropriate response is important to them. If it's not obvious, maybe the person posting could add a note stating 'response appreciated.'

I suppose, but I felt it went without being said. I was looking for a song or something, it was hardly life threatening. grin

I just read that Chris Martin did an acoustic version of 'Til Kingdom come' (a sing that always makes me think of Dusty as he really likes it) at Joe Bidens sons funeral. Apparently the son was a big Coldplay fan. Chris Martin does seem like a really nice guy.

Edit: looked on you tube and the whole ceremony was there from FOX news? WTF. I thought they hated Biden.

Chris at 2.22 if anybody wants to see. Brought a tear to my eye.

No one new joins? Moderators have to approve them, trust me, there are a few.

I wonder if I'm getting you mixed up with someone else? I could have sworn it was you.

Its from the X&Y album, 2005 I think, so its a while ago!

I recall someone saying whose opinion I respected, that the track was the best on the album. Wonder who it was…..

I dunno. You may recall that I am overwrought with ambivalence about Coldplay. It's likely that the only song I ever claimed here to really like is "In My Place".

Yeah, but they probably just want to look at that pesky Genesis stuff like I did when I first joined. grin

Well, at first, I assumed it was Lily, now it appears it might be Jill.
