How much does this burger actually have to do with London? Are there any Londonburgers joints in London, or is this just another case of America bastardizing British food?

I can't quite work out exactly why 23 is a number I thoroughly dislike, but I think it's because they're both rather dull numbers, and because they're consecutive. I've never much liked consecutive numbers, and therefore 23 is the worst possible combination. That's why they made that rather daft film on it - it's an unpopular number that's awfully common.

On a totally unrelated and random note, I think that King Crimson's Islands is a brilliant and somewhat underrated album. cool It doesn't quite grab you on the first two to four plays, but eventually it does, and when it does you suddenly realise just how powerful, moving and complex it is (save for the song "Ladies Of The Road" which is the only bad track). It's a great follow-up to the exceptional Lizard. I hope to finally get around to hearing Starless And Bible Black and Red soon. Those are the last two King Crimson albums in their classic era. King Crimson is a band that I very much like now; at first, I didn't really agree with their frightening and noisy sound, but I love it now. cool

I bought a packet of Hula Hoops, partly because the packet promised me a free music download. Although the best before date on the packet is 22/06/2013, when I went to the website mentioned, it said 2012 promotions had finished and I should look out for 2013 promotions. So no music download for me.

My son has passed on some great concerts on the campus of his university because tickets are often expensive. He bought tickets for Lady Gaga because she is his girlfriend's favorite, and they were going to spend the weekend together. Now Gaga has cancelled the show, and I feel bad for him.

I told the little one to go to her room for three minutes yesterday. Layla is three and a half years old. I went into to get her three minutes and she said to me. Sending me to my room doesn't work but the naughty step does. She is too clever lol

Because Canterbury is near the English coast, we get lots of seagulls. At the moment, there's a massive flock of them on one of the university roofs. Sometimes I like to wonder why they're not bored with life, because they're just standing there, staring into space, occasionally shifting so other seagulls can land, perfectly content, unable to do anything other than exist...

The little emblem on the pocket of my dress shirt is supposed to be a polo pony, but it actually looks more like one of those Death Riders from The Lord of the Rings. tongue
