Yesterday, I pulled out a Wii game I hadn't played in at least three years from the video game cupboard - New Super Mario Bros. Wii. The reason why I hadn't played it in so long is because it's a very difficult game that requires a huge amount of concentration and patience to play, and I promised myself to never subject myself to it again after it drove me almost insane when originally playing it. angry

However, I foolishly decided it was time to give it another shot. rolleyes I decided to return to my old save file instead of starting a new game, and then I started playing. I became very quickly frustrated after losing all of my lives in a span of ten minutes. Then, I lost them all again in the same time, silently raging all the while. I tried so hard this time to enjoy it, because the game has great graphics, a catchy (though repetitive) soundtrack, and a deceptively whimsical cartoon atmosphere which makes you want to enjoy it. But sadly, I couldn't. sad Even when you finally win a level in the game, it's just not satisfying, so I just decided to switch the game for something different.

Now, I really don't think I'll ever play the game again in the future. undecided New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a popular game for many Nintendo fans like myself, but in my opinion this game is only for people who enjoy replaying levels ad nauseum until you finally perfect them, and I personally detest that style, so it's a waste of time to me. sad One wrong move can ruin your progress, forcing you to go through everything again until you're sick of it, and that's not a good thing. A shame that I've had to turn my back on it, but not playing it again means no more frustration with it. smiley

What? Are you implying that it isn't normal here to talk about stuff that bothers you, even if it's of absolutely no long-term importance?

It's an unusual name for a cat. Apparently his family acquired him for their son and it's the son who is the Taurean. smiley
