Years ago when The Office first appeared with a cast of unknowns, did anyone think it would be Martin Freeman (Tim) who’d become the household name?

His understated performance is the type that tends to fly under the radar but he always came across to me as extremely credible.
I haven't seen any of The Hobbit films so I don't know how he is in those, but I've certainly admired his performance in the few other things I've seen him in.

I notice that a few Brits have posted in the "NFL Playoffs" thread. It would be interesting if any of the north American contingent were to post in one of the "Football predictions league 2013-14" threads.

If by interesting you mean funny as all hell, then yes I'll post in there! Just know I have absolutely NO clue what the hell I'll be posting about. The only thing I know is one if the goalies (keepers) ? Is from Jersey. Horton I think his name is. I'll take his team to win!

Sorry, that post wasn't supposed to be patronising and so I didn't mean "funny as all hell". Mind you, if you did post it could be quite amusing. grin That said, I think that genesis1964 treats those threads quite seriously, so maybe not such a good idea. wink

Never mind all that;
"That Same Old Feeling" was a hit for Pickettywitch in 1970, an English band that was fronted by Polly Browne. It climbed to number 5 in the UK[1] and just made the top 40 on US Cashbox top 100.[2] It charted at number 67 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was written by John Macleod and Tony Macaulay. John Macleod also produced the song.[3]

It was recorded by English soul band The Foundations and appeared on their 1969 'Digging The Foundations' album.[4] The Fortunes, in competition with the Foundations, recorded and released a version as well, which charted in the United States in 1970, but peaked at No. 62 there.

No problem. I didn't read your post as patronizing. I was just giving a heads up if I did post in there to not take my thoughts seriously as I know zilch about the sport. grin no question genesis 1964 knows way more about the NFL than I do about British football. smiley

The guy is taking my car so he can get a quote on my latest dent. Sigh.
