Just listened to a Confused.com radio advert, which featured some weird robot singing "The 12 Days Of Christmas".

Wasn't fond of it... undecided

I know there are lots of wackos on the net, I liked what he said in the first two minutes because it was (admittedly a bit strong)version of my thoughts, so I posted it. I haven't seen any of his other stuff.

A lot of people I respect and know personally have this view of microwaves. I guess after being around that way of thinking for 10 years or so now, I had lost sight of the fact that some people still use them so much.

They may be dangerous and maybe not, but instinctively I've never liked them, and there is enough noise to make me limit my use.

All you have to do is look around and see the proof of what food and the way we process and prepare it is doing to us. People are depressed and lethargic, sick etc. The people in life that I look to for information are people who are generally in my age group and above who have seen a lot in life and had experience, people who maintain a healthy weight, who's eyes shine and skin glows, people who smile a lot and enjoy a vibrant life, it is what I strive for.

The only negative effects of Microwaves are if they are not insulated properly (Many early ones rusted, so the magneto would leak to the room around it. This WAS harmful.) Nothing about the food they cook is. Modern food comes in for so much stick, but life expectancy has never been longer, Thanks to medicine, environment (proper heated homes and such like) and diet.

Frankly, you'd be hard pushed to avoid all microwave radiation, it's used for traffic light and speed camera sensors, point to point radio links by cellphone companies and broadcast transmitter links, and dozens more things. All are low level, microwave ovens merely use a high energy version but it is only present when the oven is on. The effect on food is merely heating by friction.

Okay, I know this post WILL fall on deaf ears, but it worth a shot,

This song(Which you are all familiar with):

Plus this game series: User Image

Equals a match made in heaven so perfect that it can only be described as finding the most perfect cheese to pair with the finest French wine money can buy. Trust me. Even the French lyrics work amazingly well.

huh

I mean, I can see the connection between the word "game" and the fact that Team Fortress 2 is an online game, but apart from that, I do not see what makes it a "marriage made in heaven".

As for fun etc. Well, I always say a good sense of humour is essential, if you can't have a laugh, why be alive!
