They say, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." I think that's horse-hockey. Many things that don't kill you can still be severely damaging.

Yeah, so you have to get stronger to cope so it doesn't kill you. (addiction comes to mind)

Well, I would agree with that aspect. But burning the roof of my mouth on scalding hot tomato soup most definitely does not make me stronger. I'm just saying. smiley
