I saw a domestic cat get squished by a car today, most unpleasant. Now I keep thinking about the poor owners, if they know where the cat is and how sad they will be once they do. sad

It wasn't very nice. I was out on a power walk walking up the street to the park. 'I Am Dimensionaut' by Sound of Contact was playing on my ipod shuffle. Day is sunny, but brisk and cool.

Grey cat darts out onto traffic, car hits it. Bleh.

I would assume that the driver of the car would be mortified,if they're aware of what has happened

I took the Tesla out today for a proper drive, have to admit its kinda fun and very fast. Best part was I put Genesis on the slacker internet radio and to my amazement Suppers ready came on, I was fully expecting the later stuff.

There's nothing like speeding along to that song. cool

Did you know that Tesla invented Alternating current(AC) not DC! You drove a Direct Current car!!! Thomas Edison invented AC.

Well, obviously you've never sped along while listening to "Hold On My Heart" or The-Song-That-Shall-Not-Be-Named...

[geek alert]
Actually, neither Edison nor Tesla "invented" alternating current, but Tesla was one of the developers of AC and a proponent for its use in electricity distribution.

Furthermore, direct current is not something one necessarily invents, since it is the basic mode of electrical current flow. Edison was only instrumental in promoting DC for electricity distribution.
