If Barack Obama found a cure for cancer, Republicans in the United States would come out in favor of cancer.

Geek alert: grin wink

The "What Are You Listening To Right Now? - Part 2" thread title has double spaces either side of the dash. In display terms these double spaces are redundant as by default HTML displays multiple spaces as a single space. However, they do take up storage space in the title. Thus when replies are posted with "Re: " added, the title is too long and the "2" of "Part 2" is chopped off. It thus looks a bit stupid in my opinion.

Well spotted! grin

In fact, when I noticed the 2 was being chopped off, I thought that you might make a comment about it somewhere along the line... didn't know about those spaces though. tongue

We had the same thing. Claiming to be Orange/EE but they've called before, and clearly weren't as they knew nothing about me, even though they claimed I was a customer. (I am, in effect, as I pay my daughters contract) - a little research proved it to be Carphone Whorehouse who have been using Orange mailing lists.

Last night my wife took the call and they asked for me. She told me who it was and they must have heard me say "not those liars again!" grin

Of course in all my replies I remove the double spaces and re-add the "2" at the end. wink

The title fit just fine in the original post. It was the added "Re:" in subsequent posts that squeezed out the "2". But then, there are plenty of oversized titles around here.

The most recent page of the Recent Purchases thread in the Other Bands section is currently blocked by my Google Chrome, due to content from www.freecodesource.com which is apparently a "known malware distributor". undecided

I'm planning on changing the phrases underneath my avatar and each post. I thought they were funny at the time, but now they don't seem funny at all. I need to get some ideas down for two fresh, witty phrases.
