I think that there's a really strong chance that on Saturday 17th August 2013, there were the fewest posts on a single day in the history of this forum. wink

I wonder if Liverpool's want-away striker is a Led Zeppelin fan? If he is and he does go to Arsenal, he'll be "South Bound Suarez (Saurez)"! grin

Hello!

Had a lovely holiday break, including a few days at the Isle of Wight. Stayed at a very posh hotel there which was exquisite on every level except for the one - the food. The food served at the hotel restaurant was so rich and sickly that it was difficult to eat and one night I was actually poorly because of it. I felt horrible that night, but I was OK in the morning and we decided to seek out other restaurants for the evening. Had a nice time overall. Went to a couple of museums, a zoo, the coast for a walk, and visited some friends with have on the island.

Music-wise, I've been playing a mixture of my favourite albums as well as the ones I received for, and bought with the money I received on, my birthday. Everything's great and lives up to my expectations (particularly the stuff by E.L.O.) except for one album - The Who's A Quick One, which may be the most disappointing album I've ever listened to in my life. sad Played it twice in the car with Dad and I was left cold both times due to its, IMHO, dull and forgettable tracks (with the obvious exception of Boris The Spider). I will continue to listen to it though of course. smiley

The amazing thing is though, this was the album that came out before The Who Sell Out - an album overflowing with beauty, creativity and fun, especially the marvellous 23-track special edition. The jump in quality from AQO to TWSO is absolutely immense! laugh

I don't think that the word "surrealistic" exists - maybe just "surreal"?

Of course it exists, I checked it before posting cheesy:

I found it surrealistic in the Dali's art sense of meaning.

Maybe as it is an adjetive, I should have said 'a surrealistic thing'. Is that better?
