I don't know if you're stuck on living in southern Ontario, but there are cities within the province that are experiencing rapid growth and are in dire need of skilled trades.

If you need directions, look north of North Bay and you'll see ample opportunities being created by record high gold prices, a housing shortage and future prospects within the "Ring of Fire."

5000 pounds is ok if you are making money on top of it. Good for the self esteem too not to be at the mercy of a boss/company politics. You could build a web-site or make up an ad to do Handyman Electrical stuff in your area, then some under the table work always comes along too, pay off the debts.....if you don't mind working hard and a lot of hours in development the world is your oyster! (Not that easy I know, but it can be done with some creativity when you have a skill, I am not skilled really but was never out of work before I retired)

They were absolutely tremendous, the best fireworks I've seen by far. They get better every year.

Well, since I quite enjoy the original idea behind the thread, I'll say something completely unrelated:

I can just imagine Tim Berners Lee looking through some teenager's Facebook posts and saying to himself, "What have I done!?"

I really don't like Maltesers. They taste nice, but biting into them makes my teeth hurt, and they make a horrid cracking sound. I recieved a tube of them for Christmas and decided to "get them out of the way" by eating them all in one go. smiley
