Last night I had a dream that I was having breakfast in a NYC café and was joined by Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin. User Image

Lets see.....breakfast in a NYC cafe, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Chris Martin. Well, as Meatloaf said so eloquently, "two out of three ain't bad"!

Presumably it was a macrobiotic breakfast?

Roxy Magic were typically excellent last night. smiley However, "Bryan" asked for requests several times and whilst Same Old Scene was shouted out by at least half a dozen different people, the band still didn't play it. undecided

Haha. I love how breakfast in a NYC cafe is a given! You know me pretty well.

I've never met her but she doesn't come off all warm and cuddly to me. Perhaps I'm mistaken but I get an uppity, diva, and not exactly in touch with the working class, vibe from her. Somehow I don't really see her holding a door open for anyone like Hackett did for us.

I don't think having breakfast with her would be an enjoyable way to start to my day. I prefer to start my days with a more relaxed, kicking back, stress free meal. For some reason I can just picture her giving orders at the table, telling me to eat this not that, what fork to use, how to hold my cup, etc. No thanks, I think I'll pass on breakfast with Gwynnie. wink

By the way, does anyone know how to turn words into links, to avoid posting the link seperately? I can't figure out how to do it. sad

Dodo

Woo-hoo! I'd idly wondered that myself and after a few minutes googling (and getting distracted with html codes, which don't work in this format) I found it.

If you reply by quoting this post you should see how the syntax works.

But basically you need , then the word you want to link to, and finally at the end.

Aww I like her apart from her singing. From a distance I like her of course, I don't know if I'd like her in real life. She seems to have nice taste in men.

I'm enjoying the cookbook, even though I have no idea what half of the ingredients are! grin

Good song and album. cool Even though it runs out of steam towards the end, it's a solid last album for the band. smiley
