Good psychological horror or the occasional well-made monster flick... absolutely! Not at all a fan of the dead teenagers/torture porn stuff.

Not much impressed with this remake – Sean Bean is okay but I much preferred the original 1986 version starring Rutger Hauer.

My daughters watched this last night. Must have been scary, I got up this morning and they were both sleeping in the same room..

The last time I saw an animated film in the theater without having a child with me was... possibly never. (Okay, Heavy Metal in college, but that doesn't really count.)

My wife and I saw this one today. Truly excellent... the most fun I've had at the movies since The Incredibles. cool

I saw the trailer to Inside Out at the weekend, and it looks great – but totally wasted on children. (“The foot is down, the foot is down!”)

I was at the cinema with the kids to see The Minions, which was great fun and very well made. I think the minions work best though when they are just one aspect of a film rather than the main focus, that way they can provide plenty of comedy without having to carry the main plot.

2001 Maniacs. A group of people stumble across a small town in Florida(I think) that is having a festival but the whole town are seeking vengeance for the killings by the North in the American Civil war. It's supposed to be a horror film but I found it quite funny though it is a little gruesome

The 100 Yard Journey is pretty good.

An Indian restaurant opens up opposite a Michelin starred restaurant mush to the owner's disgust

Had nothing to do tonight, so I decided to ignore the terrible reviews and went to see this. Lots of fun. Sure some of the action and special effects were a bit overdone, but the presence of Emilia Clarke made those scenes more watchable.

cool

Not terribly original... if you've seen other movies about down-on-their-luck boxers coping with tragedy and trying to fix their lives, then you've seen this one. But I found it entertaining, and Gyllenhaal is possibly one of our best actors of today.

cool

Saw TRAINWRECK tonight, it made me laugh. Not a must see, but better than I thought it would be.
