Was it you or was it me? Or was it he or she?

Based on the true story of the rescue of six Americans trapped in Iran during the 1979-80 hostage crisis. It's intelligent, suspenseful, and at times very funny. As espionage thrillers go, it's one of the best I've seen.

It's a shame that a film so beautiful-looking and technically brilliant can be so soulless and emotionally sterile. It was fun to watch, but they could have lopped-off the heads of any of the heroes, and I wouldn't have cared. sad

James Bond....Skyfall

Good movie, only one bad part as he survived death falling off the train and plummiting into the water... How did he survive that.

James Bond should of had a gatchet on him, more believable...

You should have watched the original version & it's subsequent two movies.

I've just watched Killing Them Softly & being a big fan of the genre, I'm happy to say it didn't disappoint.

I also watched Upside Down starring Kirsten Dunst. This is a love story with a difference. The visuals messed with my head a bit to start with, but the F/X & the appearance of Timothy Spall more than made up for my giddyness.

Has anybody been to see the 2012 remake of Total Recall? I watched a TV recording the original Arnie movie last night, a classic of its genre IMHO. Coupled with the generally less than enthusiastic reviews of the new version, I'm left thinking "What is the point?" huh

I've been a major fan of the original movie since its release, so I was understandably sceptical.
The new movie is superb, but you mustn't be sitting there comparing the two or waiting for a Johnny Cab to come round the corner. Just watch it for what it is & decide for yourself.

Speaking of Kirsten, I recently watched Melancholia. I think I hated it. It was probably the dullest movie ever made about a rogue planet on a collision course with Earth. undecided

I watched BLACK SWAN on HBO last night, ew...... lipsrsealed

I'd heard it was a dark movie. It didn't freak me out like Dragon tattoo did, but it did make me feel weird.

I can see why Natalie Portman won the oscar though, man she must have worked hard for that role!

Yep, it's hardly the idyllic story of little girls becoming ballet dancers with a happy ever after ending, is it?
