This thread is entitled 'Seen Any Good Movies,' so there was no need for you to post anything.

I think you should do a little research about the movie before giving Supernatural a hard time about it. I think you'll find he wasn't having a go at religion, rather that the way the film "uses" religion is claptrap. I think you would probably choose to avoid it if you checked it out.

You have a point, the thread title does preclude such a post, but I'd argue it was useful to point out the bad ones too, maybe we should have a "Seen any crap movies" thread, I suspect it'll be a bigger draw than this one! wink

The phrasing of "seen any good movies" is somewhat rhetorical, and I think a post that essentially responds with "No, but I saw this crummy one..." is perfectly acceptable.

And given Forum tradition with respect to deferring to the intent of the "OP", since I am the person who started this thread several years ago... I'm good with it. wink

Makes no sense at all, Dust. If that's the case, call it "Seen Any Movies?'

It makes perfect sense. The thread title is not "Tell us about the good movies you've seen."

The thread title is, in fact, a yes-or-no question. And No is just as valid a response as Yes.

Recently I finally saw Blade Runner on the big screen for the first time. Itís still as good as ever, and my friend and I were discussing the film as we walked through the town centre afterwards. Just as we were talking about the significance in the directorsís cut of the little origami figures that Gaff leaves for Deckard we actually found a tiny origami flapping bird on the pavementÖ shocked

So....You are a replicant also wink

One of my all time favourite films ever.

Saw Jonny Depp in Transendence last night and although there were more holes in the plot than you could shake a hogweed at, I enjoyed it.

Avengers Age Of Ultron I loved as pure fantasy relief from day to day stuff.....

Best wishes

I meant the original as rather silly overboard religiousness. My parents are regular church goers and my dad plays the organ every Sunday morning service

I recently watched The Fault In Our Stars which I quite enjoyed
