The Interview

I went into this with limited expectations as the last Seth Grogan and James Franco movie I saw - The End Of The World or whatever the hell was shite. I actually found this quite funny in a gratuitous kind of way but let's face it they never hold back, do they?
I can see why the North Koreans wanted to stop it though...

I saw "The Other Woman" on Christmas Eve which was ok but aimed more at the ladies as it's sort of a revenge movie on a serial cheater

Lol!

I commented on FB about Selma, but suffice to say they are both fantastic movies. I didn't think they were slow. I thought Bennedict deserved an Oscar nomination, though...

Spoiler Alert!!

I knew the story about Alan Turing too, the portrayal here was reasonably accurate however his treatment here was somewhat glossed over. It was an absolute tragedy how he was treated. Dying so young robbed the world of possibly decades off the introduction of the personal computer...

I really liked this film, the Ralph Fiennes character sort of reminded me of my uncle (RIP) which made it even funnier in places.

The Purge:Arnachy was pretty decent
Earth To Echo is a great family film, quite similar to E.T. in a way.
Lucy was a disappointment. I'm sure they could've done more with it

Plus one for that film.

Loved it.

Very odd and quirky and also very very funny indeed.

Best wishes

Maybe I should try again with that film (thank you for the advice Dusty tongue)

I watched some of it on a plane and it looked annoying. But I was very grumpy, and the guy beside me was stinking the place out with his farts. Not a great flight, but at least it had wi fi....

Foxcatcher...very good performances but also low key and a bit slow, in fact it's not quite my tempo..

Which is a line borrowed from Whiplash, the next film I saw and much more my cup of tea.
